Get the GitScrum Chrome Extension running in under 60 seconds.
Step 1: Install
From Chrome Web Store (Chrome, Brave, Arc, Opera):
- Visit the GitScrum Chrome Extension page
- Click Add to Chrome
- Confirm by clicking Add extension
From Microsoft Edge Add-ons:
- Visit the GitScrum Edge Extension page
- Click Get
- Confirm by clicking Add extension
The GitScrum icon appears in your browser toolbar.
Manual Installation (Development):
- Download the extension package
- Open
chrome://extensions/in your browser - Enable Developer mode (toggle in top right)
- Click Load unpacked
- Select the extension folder
Step 2: Sign In
- Click the GitScrum icon in your toolbar
- Enter your email and password
- If MFA is enabled, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app
- Click Sign in
Or use OAuth:
- Click Google, GitHub, or Facebook
- Complete authentication in the popup window
- You are automatically signed in
Step 3: Create Your First Task
- Click the GitScrum icon
- Select your Workspace and Project from the dropdowns
- Enter a task title
- Click Create
The task appears in your project's Kanban board.
Optional: Capture a Screenshot
- Navigate to any webpage
- Click the GitScrum icon
- Click the Shot tab at the bottom
- Click Capture
- The screenshot attaches to your next task automatically
You Are Ready
That is everything you need to start. The extension remembers your workspace and project selection, so future tasks are even faster to create.
