How to Use Auto-Archive for Completed Tasks in GitScrum?

How to use auto-archive for completed tasks?

Auto-archive automatically removes tasks from the Done column after a specified number of days (0-60). Configure it in column settings by selecting your retention period. Archived tasks aren't deleted—they're moved to the archive where you can search and restore them. This keeps your board clean without losing historical data.

Step-by-step auto-archive setup:

  1. Navigate to your Done column - Or any completion column
  2. Click column settings menu - Three dots or gear icon
  3. Select "Edit Column" - Opens configuration modal
  4. Find "Auto-Archive" setting - Days dropdown
  5. Select retention period - 0-60 days (0 = immediate)
  6. Save settings - Auto-archive activates immediately
  7. Verify with test task - Check archive after period
