NoteVault

NoteVault is your personal note-taking workspace inside GitScrum Studio. Organize ideas, meeting notes, technical decisions, and documentation in folders with color coding — all from your phone.

The Problem This Solves

Ideas and decisions happen everywhere — during calls, in meetings, while reviewing code. Without a quick capture tool connected to your work context, notes end up scattered across apps, sticky notes, and messages.

NoteVault integrates note-taking directly into your project management workflow, keeping everything in one place.

What You Are Looking At

Open the drawer menu and tap NoteVault. You see two tabs:

  • Notes — all your notes in a scrollable list
  • Folders — your folder structure for organizing notes

Each note shows its title, color indicator, and last modified timestamp.

Creating a Note

  1. Open NoteVault from the drawer
  2. Tap the + or create button
  3. Enter a title
  4. Write your note content using the rich text editor
  5. Choose a color from 10 options: gray, blue, red, green, yellow, purple, coral, amber, sky, lime
  6. Save

The note appears in your list immediately.

Editing a Note

  1. Tap any note to open it
  2. Edit the title, content, or color
  3. Changes save when you confirm

The rich text editor supports standard formatting for capturing structured content.

Pro Tips (Once You Are Comfortable)

  • Meeting notes: Create a note before a meeting with the agenda. Add decisions and action items during the meeting.
  • Color for priority: Use red for urgent items and green for resolved items. The color makes visual scanning faster.
  • Folder per project: Create folders matching your project names. This keeps notes organized by context.
  • Quick capture: Use NoteVault as a scratch pad for ideas that might become tasks later. Review and convert them during planning sessions.

Permissions

NoteVault is a personal workspace. Notes are tied to your user account and available across all workspaces. There are no team sharing features in the mobile app for NoteVault — it is your private knowledge base.
