Projects
Projects are the containers for your Kanban boards, tasks, time entries, and team collaboration. The mobile app gives you full project management capabilities — browse, create, configure settings, and organize work across workspaces.
The Problem This Solves
Setting up a new project or adjusting project settings should not wait until you are at your desk. When a client approves a new engagement, a team restructures, or a project needs archiving, the mobile app lets you act immediately.
What You Are Looking At
Home Tab
The Home tab shows project cards for the current workspace. Each card displays:
- Project name
- Project status indicator
- Key metadata
Tap any card to open the project and see its Kanban board.
Browsing Projects
Projects on the Home tab are loaded with infinite scroll. Scroll down to load more projects. Pull down to refresh the list.
To see projects from a different workspace, open the drawer and use the Workspace Selector.
Creating a Project
From the Drawer
- Open the drawer menu
- Tap Create Project
- Select the target workspace
- Enter the project name
- Add an optional description
- Choose privacy: Public (visible to all workspace members) or Private (visible only to invited members)
- Tap Create
The project appears on the Home tab immediately.
Project Settings
After opening a project, access its settings to configure:
Name and Description
Edit the project name and description from the settings screen.
Status
Set the project status:
- In Progress — active project
- Completed — finished project
- Archived — hidden from the main list
Privacy
Toggle between public and private visibility. Private projects only appear for explicitly invited members.
Workspaces
Browsing Workspaces
Open the drawer and tap Workspace Selector to see all workspaces you belong to. Tap a workspace to switch — the Home tab refreshes with that workspace's projects.
Creating a Workspace
- Open the drawer
- Tap Create Workspace
- Enter the workspace name
- The new workspace is created and becomes available in the selector
Real-Time Updates
Project changes sync via WebSocket:
- A new project created by a teammate appears on your Home tab
- Project deletions remove the card from your list
- Status changes update the project indicator
Pro Tips (Once You Are Comfortable)
- Workspace as context: Use workspace switching to focus on a specific client or team. Each workspace is a clean context boundary.
- Private for sensitive work: Create private projects for confidential client work. Only explicitly invited members can see them.
- Quick project setup: Create a project from the drawer, then immediately open it to start adding tasks on the board.
Permissions
- Agency Owners: Can create workspaces and projects, manage all settings
- Managers: Can create projects, manage settings for their projects
- Developers: Can create projects (if workspace permissions allow)
- Clients: Cannot create projects or modify settings
