Task Management
The task detail screen is the most powerful screen in the app. It gives you full control over every aspect of a task — title, description, workflow, assignees, labels, checklists, comments, attachments, and time tracking — all from your phone.
The Problem This Solves
When you are away from your computer, tasks still need attention. A quick update during a meeting, a comment after a phone call, a status change while commuting. Without mobile access, these small actions wait until you are back at your desk, creating bottlenecks and outdated boards.
What You Are Looking At
The task detail screen is a scrollable view with collapsible sections:
Header: Task title (editable), workflow status indicator, timer button, and more options menu.
Content area: Organized sections for every task property — each section expands to reveal editing controls.

The workflow indicator shows the current status (e.g., To Do, In Progress, Done). Tap it to open the workflow picker and move the task to a different column.

Time Tracking from Task
Start a Timer
Tap the timer icon in the task header. The timer starts immediately and appears in the Time Tracking tab.
Stop a Timer
Tap the timer icon again (now showing as running). A modal appears asking you to confirm the stop. The time entry is logged automatically.
If you have a timer running on another task, starting a new timer will prompt you about the conflict — you can stop the existing timer and start the new one.
Task Actions
Delete a Task
- Tap the more options menu (three dots) in the task header
- Select Delete
- Confirm the deletion
Deleted tasks are removed permanently from the board.
Move to Another Column
Use the workflow picker to move the task between columns. This is equivalent to dragging a card on the web board.
Pro Tips (Once You Are Comfortable)
- Inline editing: Tap any section header to expand and edit. The screen scrolls to keep your editing position visible.
- Timer conflicts: If you forget to stop a timer, starting a new one will catch it. The app handles timer handoffs gracefully.
- Checklist for subtasks: Use checklists as lightweight subtasks when you do not need full task tracking for smaller items.
- Comment as status update: Drop a quick comment before changing workflow status. This gives your team context about why the task moved.
Permissions
- Agency Owners and Managers: Full task management including deletion
- Developers: Create, edit, comment, attach, and track time on assigned tasks
- Clients: View task details and comments (if granted access)
