Project Team Standup

Visual dashboard that automatically tracks your project team's daily activity, completed work, current tasks, blockers, and weekly progress—no manual input required.

Overview

The Project Team Standup is an automated activity dashboard that pulls data directly from your project's tasks. Unlike traditional standups that require team members to manually answer questions, GitScrum's Team Standup automatically shows:

  • Tasks completed yesterday
  • Tasks in progress today
  • Current blockers
  • Team member activity
  • Weekly productivity trends

The header displays real-time stats: tasks done, active tasks, blocked items, and hours tracked.

Dashboard Tabs

The Team Standup organizes information into six tabs. Click any tab to view that section.

Contributors Tab

The Contributors tab displays a GitHub-style activity chart showing who contributed to the project and when. This view includes:

  • Activity heatmap visualization
  • List of contributors with their activity metrics
  • Period selector to view different time ranges
  • Task counts and hours tracked per contributor

This tab is available to all users and serves as the default view when you open the Team Standup.

Yesterday Tab

The Yesterday tab shows all tasks that were completed during the previous day. Each task card displays:

  • Task title and description
  • Assignee avatar
  • Time tracked on the task
  • Priority indicator
  • Labels and tags

Click any task to open its detail panel. This tab requires a Pro subscription.

Today Tab

The Today tab displays tasks currently in progress. The system automatically identifies tasks that team members are actively working on based on task status. Each entry shows:

  • Task title and current status
  • Assigned team member
  • Time tracked today
  • Priority level

This gives you instant visibility into what the team is working on right now. This tab requires a Pro subscription.

Blockers Tab

The Blockers tab lists all tasks marked as blocked within the project. Blockers are critical items that need attention and may be preventing progress. The view displays:

  • Blocked task title
  • Reason for blocking (if provided)
  • How long the task has been blocked
  • Assigned team member

This tab requires a Pro subscription.

Team Tab

The Team tab provides a member-by-member breakdown of activity. For each team member you can see:

  • Tasks completed today
  • Tasks currently in progress
  • Tasks completed this week
  • Blocked items count
  • Hours tracked today
  • Activity status (working, available, or blocked)

An activity percentage shows relative productivity compared to other team members. This tab requires a Pro subscription.

Weekly Tab

The Weekly tab displays a chart showing productivity trends over the past seven days. The chart visualizes:

  • Tasks completed per day
  • Tasks created per day
  • Blocked items over time
  • Hours tracked daily

This helps identify patterns and spot potential bottlenecks before they become problems. This tab requires a Pro subscription.

Header Stats Bar

At the top of the Team Standup, a stats bar provides at-a-glance metrics:

  • Done: Total tasks completed (green indicator)
  • Active: Tasks currently in progress (blue indicator)
  • Blocked: Tasks with blockers (red indicator)
  • Tracked: Total hours tracked (orange indicator)

These numbers update in real-time as the team works.

Refresh Button

Click the refresh button in the header to reload all data. This is useful when you want to see the latest updates without navigating away from the page.
